If you’re invited to visit a fashion show in Paris, it’s not an invitiation one should dwell on for too long. After the recently launched clutches, that can be worn cross body called “Le Sac Si” , Dullaert s on a roll focusing on feminine yet elegant body following female designs. I feel priveleged to say I own a few pieces of PEETDULLAERT ’s creations and can confirm the freedom of movement while wearing them. They don’t come more travel friendly than this.
For SS16 collection Dullaert was inspired by Japanese Cloisonné vases, dating from the Meiji-period (circa 1900) where these three words can be reffered to as key: silhouette, strength and vulnerability. Find a few of my favorite pieces from the SS16 collection below:
M.A.C. Cosmetics Backstage:
From a make-up artist point of view I always tend to say: Why not let the make-up do the talking. The make-up should complement the total appearance and vica versa. A fresh and dewy complexion works for every outfit as seen on Dullaert’s runway. The aim is to look as if you are wearing no make-up and are naturally blessed with radiant skin, elegant contours and wide awake eyes.
The chosen few by chef de cabine Katerina Brans and team for M.A.C.Cosmetics does the tric. Skin looks fresh, with a make-up, no make-up look, not a drop of mascara but just a hint of pearly sheen on the eye lids. With a formula high in pigment these stained lipsticks give a professional finish in a sweep and come in “I –want-them-all” easy going shades. A perfect combination where silhouette, strength and vulnerability come together. Just as I like it.
