Yesterday was the kick-off of the grande opening of fashion week Amsterdam. Dutch talents, some are long established and some are up and coming joined forces and opened Fashion week with a very spectacular fashion show. Each designer showed their eye catching three to five pieces. The designer range from the years 1960 to 2016. This fashion week unites shows the craftmanship of the Dutch heritage. And what a night it was. A fairytale that took us from classical to modern and back with these Dutch Visionairs:
Mac & Maggie, Puck & Hans, Gletcher, Monique van Heist, Mathhijs, Oscar Suleyman, Aziz Bekkaoiu, Spijkers & Spijkers, Humanoid, Laundy Industry, Avelon, Ell=Bell, Marcha Huskes, G-Star and Bas Kosters. A perfect melting pot of visionares.
As make-up studio is responsible for all the make-up looks during fashion week, it’s a great pleasure to be able to have sneak peek backstage. The make-up looks were over the top and clownesk while the inspiration came from doll like window models with plastic face masks. A strong black eyebrow while lips were pigmented with eyeshadow and topped with fixingspray to set it all. Have a peek at the pictures below.
