Marula oil is Africa’s best kept beauty secret. It groes on wild trees and is hand harvested in South Africa. I fell in love with these beneficial products, and what better place to write about one of my favourite organic skincare products while actually being in South Africa.
I like the fact that it’s certified organic, fair trade and is obtained by a single cold press process using the most advanced, green technology to capture all the goodness. Think a high level of anti-oxidants including vitamin C, vitamin E, and omegas that deliver nutrition, moisture and luminosity to the skin. Every batch is checked and analysed by our Lab to ensure the highest quality and bioavailability to empower your skin.
Résurrection eye cream
This eye crème is amazing as it absorbs quickly and smooths the surface of the skin. It contains Marula Oil, Baobab, Resurrection Plant, Green Rooibos Tea extract and Peptides to noticeably reduce the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness.
Mineral Cleansing Mask
As everyone knows cleaning the skin is most important thing to do when it comes to obtaining a healthy skin. Skin will never look as polished with just the use of a make-up remover and toner. I love this cleanser (100ml /€66) as it hydrates the skin leaving it refreshed and ready to absorb serums and oils. The formulas contain unique plant-based extracts and works on all skin types.
Neroli Infused Marula Oil
A body oil (60ml /€95) is not only healthy for the skin, it also gives skin that radiant and healthy looking appearance. A healthy glow is everything now a days. The Neroli infused version has anti –aging properties, does not clog the pores nor does it leave a residue. As this product is exceptionally high in fatty acids, it hydrates the skin and reduces redness. You can use it as a daily moisturiser or as a boost serum, especially problematic, oily and blemished skin. And the scent in particular is one that let’s wander off to tropical places.
The Marula Shimmering Gold (body) (100ml /€98) oil can be used on face, body and hair. It contains a mix of African Marula, Moringo, Baobab and Kalahari Melon seed that are especially chosen for their resilience to harsh climatic conditions and ability to nourish skin and leave it extremely soft. I love to use the oil during shoots. But yes, I also love using this products on my hair. It really does make all the difference. You ought to try it sometime.
