I heard so many amazing things about Vesper in Noordwijk, it was time to find out for myself what all the fuss is all about. First of all, Vesper is not like any other hotel, it’s the first boutique hotel on the Dutch coast making the surroundings and atmosphere cozy, intimate and serene.
When you step in you feel at home immediately. As it says on the website: “Take your mind off the day-to-day of home life and find a private paradise along the beaches of Noordwijk”, is really true. Nice to know that Hotel Vesper is awarded the travellers choice award by Tripadvisor and I can see why. The service is high, while the interior is a bucket list worthy combination of design and art from which every room has its own character and color designed with items from Parisian markets and furniture. What’s not to love.
Vesper Hotel carries 27 rooms. You can choose from a classic or deluxe room, to a junior, executive or terrace suite. While staying at the deluxe balcony room, I was in awe overlooking the breathtaking view on the sea. A little on the cold side this time of the year, yet perfect to have a stroll at the beach for some “me” time and fresh air.
When the temperature rises this is a perfect spot to hang out and relax when the sun sets, or head down 50 meters below as Vesper has their very own beach club called Bries. Bries serves lunches and seasonal food diners and you can even enjoy a massage in one of the private cabanas.
During my stay, I had the privilege to enjoy the Gozo food and wine event as this month Vesper Finds Gozo – From February 3th – 28th. I fell in love with Gozo a while ago when I visited Malta & Gozo.  last year.
Team Vesper has traveled to the beautiful island of Gozo to discover all the culinary treasures this Mediterranean island has to offer. The Island is part of Malta and has a wonderful culinary heritage and beautiful wines with a great history. Vesper has experienced this by tasting, trying and feeling. The best things they discovered are brought back to Vesper with love. I had the privilege to indulge in the Vesper finds Gozo experience.
From homemade ravioli with a filling of ricotta, cooked in typical Gozitan tomato sauce with parsley to Victoria Pumpkin Risotto which is prepared with pumpkin, walnuts and sage oil and utterly delicious. You can choose from an 3 to 6-course dinner with a wine arrangement to go with it. Don’t hesitate to book a table as the Vesper finds Gozo culinary treasures are only available until the 28th of February.
Having breakfast at Vesper is just as festive and enjoyable as the dinner. I can assure you I will be back here for the extremely tasty pancakes with strawberries and perfect cappuccino.
That said, have a go. I loved it and so will you.
