I am really loving this collection as from a make-up artist point of the view the pigments are amazing. I am a huge fan of the crème shadows and always carry the shadows from earlier collections around in my kit. A blendable quick fix which you can layer if you decide to do so. That said, Glamorize Me Creme Shadow palette is my favorite item
(€ 40,50).
As we are heading back to gloss (yes, really) on the Fastlane, I’ve tried the tricolor gloss (€ 21,50) by James Kaliardos and mixed it with amplified and satin lipstick (€ 19,50) form the collection. The results are glam, eventhought I really don’t like the stickiness from the gloss.
The other fun item is the sheen/smoldering quick trick stick. You’ll find a creamy highlighter on one side, and a darker toned shade to shape and contour. It’s easy to use as the texture is quite sheer. Please don’t forget to blend. (€ 34,50)
The full face kit comes in two different shades. As a woman color I could do with a darker one (currently tried Moons Of Saturn) but apart from that the consistency of the compact is great. You’ll find two complementing shades of cream color base and a sculpting powder to finish your look.
Diane Kendal, a British make-up artist based in New York, (she helped develop products for Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein Cosmetics) is one of three makeup artists M.A.C Cosmetics work with on this 50-piece MAC Make-Up Art Cosmetics collection. I’ve tried several pieces of the launch.
Check out James Kaliardos and Kabuki the other artists M.A.C. worked on this collection. The collection is in stores now. Hurry! J
