This pretty cool collaboration between Skins and BIBBI is inspired by a shared passion for fragrance. An evolving partnership that began long before BIBBI’s official launch. While BIBBI’s collection is more meditative, this venture led to the creation of two perfumes rather than one. The decision to develop both a Santal and a Vanilla fragrance came from a desire to capture the essence of each brand.
The Santal fragrance embodies xSkins, while the xVanilla represents BIBBI, with each fragrance sharing notes from the other, creating a harmonious balance. The aim was to create the perfect, long-lasting Santal fragrance – a personal obsession of Skins founder Philip Hillege, for over 30 years.
Together with Stina who is the founder of BIBBI, and the perfumer Jerome Epinette, the quest was fulfilled, resulting in a warm, multi-layered scent that individually develops in a unique way marking the ultimate xSantal experience. The xVanilla scent reflects the depth and complexity of BIBBI, while harmonising with the vision Skins has cultivated over the years. It is sweet, seductive and mysterious, with the depth of galbanum and the slight sensuality of patchouli.
An interesting perfume that evolves throughout the day, offering a journey of sweetness and intrigue. SKINS x BIBBI Both xVanilla and xSantal can be layered blending the woodiness and spice of xSantal with the green sweetness of xVanilla. It creates a lovely harmony.
