The perfume brand Édith was launched by Nikko Jurushi and established in 1905 in Tokyo. Before diving into the world of fragrance, Édith manufactured ink pads called Shunika, using traditional methods for over 100 years. The fragrances where produced by former music director and 6th – generation owner “Nikko Jurushi” together with like-minded perfumers, designers, and manufacturing engineers who have been working for Nikko Jurushi for many years.
La collection remixes contains five exquisite scents using musical perfuming techniques unique to Édith just like musicians creating a new song. Jardin des Mots is describes as a garden nestled in the bustle of the city. Kagamigoshi is described as a déjà vu in memory. Green Velvet resembles dark green velvet, while Cocktail Lane resembles a cocktail that suddenly makes you think back on your life.
My favorite perfume from the collection is Souchong Journey. A perfume based on the Black Tea culture. The blend contains the freshness of Bergamot, Mandarin and Juniper Berry in the top. Tonka Bean and Iris in the middle that adds a touch of sweetness. Last but not least: Vetiver, White Cedar and Vanilla in the base to complete this extraordinary fragrance.
