Cocaïne is a very interesting fragrance with solar, floral, and oriental notes. In the head, At the top you’ll find Pink Berries, Bitter Orange, Tobacco, and a little Caramel that gives the fragrance a warm kickstart. The heart is quite floral and brings a fresh touch with Orchid, Lily, Tuberose, while in the base you’ll be able to recognize Patchouli, Vanilla, and Monoi that gives it an oriental harmony for an exotic journey.
When I sprayed it on, at first I could only smell Tuberose which I don’t particularly like, but when that dries down and the other ingredients find their place on my skin it develops beautifully and creates a kind of addictiveness as I keep smelling to follow the development even further. If you’re a sweet tooth which I can be on occasion then Sugar by Franck Boclet might just be your happy new scent. Like a delicious marshmallow, the notes are greedy, tart, fruity, and amber with top notes such as bergamot, marshmallow, blackcurrant, honey, and coconut.
The fruity and heart is brought by pear, jasmine, peach, vanilla, and caramel. The fragrance finally closes with notes of orange blossom and raspberry combined with those of white musk and violet. A romantic and sweet scent like the song for a vintage comeback “Sugar, you are my candy girl and you got me wanting you…”.(100 ML | €185)
In January 2019, Franck Boclet opened its first officine and concept store, floors and walls painted matt black, the design thought up by Franck Boclet, a pleated ceiling in blue velvet, a black crystal chandelier, bookcases, cutting table and trunk. All the furniture is made of wood and created to measure, some of which have been aged and burnt. Perfumes, clothing, shoes, and accessories, both for women and men, are found on two levels. All Franck Boclet’s creations are presented while being open to a few other designers exhibiting their products.
