I love to travel to London. This must have to do something with my British roots. The city is vivid and lively and packed with places you want to go as they are waiting with novelties to discover and explore. Shoreditch  East London is still very hip & happening and when in London I love to stay at the ACE HOTEL Click on the link to find out why. Furthermore east London carries shops with young fashion designers. Yet, much of the area maintains its original gritty, urban edge; many of the walls and shop fronts are plastered with graffiti.
Little hotspots like MODERN SOCIETY with coffee corners that offer outstanding fresh coffee, where you can browse and think about the purchases you made, or are about to make. One of my favourite perfume labels “LE LABO” carries their shop just around the corner from the ACE hotel.
One of my favourite places to have lunch or brunch is ALBION. Established British recipes and ingredients. They aim to offer a gentle mix of café specialities and food more associated with home –cooking; nothing challenging or complicated, just straightforward and hearty.
The OLD SPITAFIELD MARKET is also a lovely place to have a browse and a small bite to eat. You’ll find loads of stalls with vintage clothes and gadgets.
When it comes to serious shopping the Oxford street area is packed with people. You’ll find the Selfridges walhalla where you’ll find all major brands naturally. Moving forward, Liberty in the Carnaby street area offers niche brands and is set on exclusives, just as Selfridges. If had a stroll down the parallel streets between Oxford street and Carnaby street and fell in love with SONIA RYKIEL at Brook Street that has a new library concept. Wow! What a beautiful store.
And then off course I went off to HARRODS and HARVEY NICHOLS where Christian Louboutin has a jaw dropping counter among other high end cosmetics brands. Can I have one of these at home please?
Covent Garden is hot and happening, and I had such a great time here. When it comes to beauty shopping you’ll find Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Dior, Burberry, and many more brands. CHARLOTTE TILBURY recently opened her boudoir here. More about the boudoir on FABELISH.COM this week.
Find a perfectly prepared steak at FLAT IRON where they also serve complimentary popcorn when you arrive and complementary ice cream when leaving. What a service.
