The latest fragrance in the legendary Chanel N°5 line is scheduled for the fall of 2016. Chanel N°5 L’Eau aims to the address the younger female audience. This airy version of the classic was developed by Olivier Polge as a fresh interpretation of the sophisticated original, featuring prominent note of May rose from Grasse. From what I understood Olivier Polge has apparently been working on this composition since 2013. Find lemon, mandarin, orange, Neroli and aldehydes in the top, rose ylang-ylang and jasmine in the heart, and cedar mixed with white musk in the base. I find this version much friendlier to ware during the day but also on cool Indian summer nights.
Ever since the launch I am loving this product. It is quick and effective and gives a radiant touch to the skin. It has a cream to oil structure, and I tend to use it a serum under my regular day or night crème. The benefits are more smooth and plumped skin. Also it helps to restore the density of the skin.
