The POWER of THREE Make-up artistry by Viola a.k.a Teshura.nl
Meet talented make-up artist 👩🏿🎨 Viola a.k.a @teshura.nl. who I had the privilege to interview. As we both are passionate make-up artists it was delightful to discuss diversity, make-up for women of ANY color and much more, 📸📹and… Viola did my make-up. Her signature? I call it: THE POWER OF 3️⃣ Check out the video to see how it’s done. Personalized beauty is about each WOMAN being able to create her own make-up routine that complements her inner beauty & style.
My Make-up No Make-up Routine Based On A look From Beyonce’s Formation Tour
It’s pretty early in the morning and you really need to get up but you pushed the snooze button to often. Oh Lord! Quick shower, get dressed and off you go. STOP. Rewind. And this is what you need to do to get your face in Beyoncé shape. Naturally you don’t have to apply all the steps, find favourites and see what works for you.
Basic Flawless Essentials
I received a zillion of requests on beauty tutorial video’s so I thought it was time and fun to start with my personal favourites and how I apply them. When I use fluid basics I really rely on my fingers to do the job. As skin is warm I find it blends in more easily when using my fingers. After applying skincare that usually contains a day serum by Bioeffect, I apply Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic crème as it really works magic for the skin.
How To Apply A Rosy Glow That Stays In Place All Day
Straight after applying foundation I really like to use a cream blush and a dash of highlighter before setting the skin. This is a perfect way to create a dewy looking complexion, a gone to the beach look as you will. There are several crème blushes I am particularly fond of, for example Laura Mercier in Canyon, Mac Cosmetics crème colour base in Rich Coral and at the moment Minor Crisis by Lipstick Queen.
From office to cocktails!
When heading from the office to an evening out or Friday night cocktails, no need to start your make-up all over again from scratch, instead you add. It’s all about the details…
During the day using a tight line (a.k.a. invisible eyeliner that is wiggled between the lashes) will do the subtle trick.
