This beauty product is all over my Instagram; the FARSALI Rose Gold Elixer. The oil fast absorbing, think of it as a dry oil but with the effects and benefits of a moisturizer. The elixer is gold infused and promises to be rich in vitamins (Rosehip Seed Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, 24k Gold, Vitamin E), essential fatty acids and antioxidants while vitamin c and vitamin A helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines. It does not contain the nasties like parabens and sulphates.
The TEST:
I added a few drops to my daily moisturizer and even tried mixing it with my foundation and primer. The overall texture of the product is good but you really shouldn’t add more than a tiny drop the get the shine hitting you right back during the day. I like the product but don’t understand what the fuss is all about. I feel the product has been hyped. To me, the Nuxe dry oil (with gold particles), or the NARS cosmetics Monoi oil with do the same natural glow and radiant trick.
Nevertheless, if you crave internet beauty trends, go for it and experience the hype. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you… J
