Longchamp recently reopened its store at the prestigious P.C. Hooftstraat 69 in Amsterdam and unveiled a new global design concept.
Wherever you visit a Longchamp store in the world, it feels like walking into the apartment of a good friend in Paris. Just as every house reflects its inhabitants’ passions, experiences, and personality, Longchamp’s new design concept not only exudes the brand’s long history and craftsmanship but also energy and optimism.
Inspired by the idea of a typical Parisian flat – obviously a nod to the city where Longchamp was born in 1948 – the entire setting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere reflecting the values, artistic curiosity, and worldly mindset that Longchamp shares with its clients.
One of the very key elements of this new concept is that each store will display at least one item from the Longchamp archive. The House of Longchamp started making products in the 1940s. The interior of the shops is also inspired by the furniture of the 1940s, with soft shapes and natural materials. The reopening of the store in Amsterdam coincides with the launch of the Longchamp 2023 summer collection in warm and sunny colors. The ultimate invitation to travel.
