A perfect moment to (re)introduce myself. My name is Amanda Rijff. British-born, Jamaican heritage, raised between the UK and the Netherlands. From a young age I’ve been mesmerised by faces, their architecture, character and the unspoken language they communicate. Reading a face in seconds has become second nature.
I am an Author, Beauty & Lifestyle Editor, Master Make-up Artist, Beauty & Scent Strategist, and Consultant. For over 18 years, I’ve specialised in understanding how colour, texture, scent and technique shape presence and non-verbal communication. My work is rooted in helping women define their unique beauty signature, embracing individuality rather than perfection. Because you don’t need to be flawless to be unforgettable.
With over 16,000 faces of experience as a Master Make-up Artist, Beauty Consultant and Cultural Beauty Strategist, I help women refine their presence through colour, texture and technique. My foundation in aesthetics was shaped early on through my work as Account Manager and Head of Artistry for Laura Mercier, and later as buyer for Skins Cosmetics in
the Benelux and Ibiza. Roles that sharpened my eye for quality, craftsmanship and product performance.
I am a beauty & lifestyle printmedia editor, author of Flawless and Innerlijke Schoonheid,
and jury member of the Dutch Beauty Award and Coiffure Awards. As a consultant, I advise international beauty and luxury brands on strategy, storytelling and inclusivity.
On this platform I share honest reviews, expert insights and cultural reflections on beauty, lifestyle, fragrance, fashion and art. Not just another beauty page, but an editorial space dedicated to clarity, craftsmanship and elevated self-expression.
