Parisian niche fragrance house BDK Parfums has unveiled Collection Studio, a collection that explores the connection between fragrance and fashion. Founded in 2016 by David Benedek, whose family has been immersed in the world of perfumery for generations, the independent maison is known for creating fragrances inspired by stories, memories and personal expression.
With Collection Studio, fragrance becomes a second skin. Inspired by materials, textures and craftsmanship, the collection consists of three fragrances created by master perfumer Jordi Fernández.
Stellar Silk is a soft, enveloping composition built around Australian sandalwood, iris, vanilla and tonka bean. Silver Ceremony combines tobacco, honey, amyris wood and tonka bean for a warm, elegant signature. Oud Paradisio, my personal favourite, is a rich and contemporary interpretation of oud, enhanced with saffron, rose and amber notes that give it depth and sensuality without feeling heavy.
During the launch, David Benedek shared that the fragrances were also designed to be layered, allowing wearers to create their own olfactory wardrobe and tailor the collection to their personal style. A fitting concept for a line so closely connected to fashion. The collection perfectly reflects BDK’s modern vision of luxury: sophisticated, expressive and deeply personal.
