Chambre 52 – Tobacco Memories Extrait: A Night That Lingers

I first encountered the world behind this fragrance at De L’Europe Amsterdam, where I met founder Nicolas DeWitte, It was one of those rare, instinctive moments don’t analyse, you just know. I fell for the fragrances instantly. Not because they were easy, but because they weren’t.

Tobacco Memories Extrait captures that same feeling. Saffron hits first: warm, slightly metallic, intriguing. Almond softens the edges before black cherry pulls everything into a darker, glossier dimension. This isn’t sweetness; this is tension dressed as indulgence.

At the heart, iris brings a cool, powdery precision while subtle animalic nuances hum beneath the surface. Tobacco absolute anchors it. It’s smooth, composed, quietly commanding.

Then it settles. Moss and labdanum fuse with a dry vanilla that feels like skin, but better while leaving a trace. When perfumer Domitille Michalon reworked it into an extrait, making the perfume deeper and more concentrated. Like that first encounter, still playing on repeat.
