Maison Crivelli was built on the idea that perfume is a lived experience. Founder Thibaud Crivelli doesn’t compose fragrances to behave but rather to shift. This candle is contrast at full volume.
It contains raspberry, (but not ultra sweet) and leather that isn’t heavy. The fruit flashes first which I love. It’s bright and playful. Then the leather tightens the air. A little more grained and textured. That said: “Infrarouge” isn’t subtle. It’s nightclub red with a little after-hours elegance.
As a candle, it transforms a space. I was really pleasant surprised by this layered composition that brings a smile to my face. (190 g | €65) Red light. Leather and heat. Burn it low. Let it glow.
