Oud has a reputation for being smoky, leathery and intense. Francis Kurkdjian takes a different approach with Oud Velvet Mood, bringing a softer, more sensory dimension to the ingredient. Think sun-warmed skin, peach fuzz and polished suede, with the darker character of Oud still very much present. Grandiflorum jasmine adds a fresh, fruity floral note, while sustainably sourced Oud gives the fragrance its warmth, depth and subtle sense of danger.
