I first wrote about Fifty Four in 2024, and ever since, it has stayed with me. Some perfumes disappear into the endless stream of launches. This one lingers in your memory like the soundtrack of an unforgettable night.
Inspired by the legendary Studio 54, Fifty Four captures the intoxicating atmosphere of the world’s most iconic nightclub. A place where music, fashion, sexuality and creative freedom collided in spectacular fashion. It was a cultural phenomenon where everyone wanted to be seen and nobody wanted the night to end. Master perfumer Julien Rasquinet collaborated with fragrance expert Sebastian Jara and the creators of Jusbox to create a fragrance that feels euphoric, seductive and unapologetically glamorous.
The opening immediately sets the mood with an addictive Piña Colada accord blended with sparkling cardamom and davana from Guatemala. It feels tropical, vibrant and slightly decadent, like the first sip of a cocktail and spinning disco balls.
As the fragrance develops, saffron, chocolate accord, nagarmotha and cinnamon bark create a warm, sensual heart with incredible depth. It feels luxurious, intimate and thrilling all at once.
The dry-down is where Fifty Four truly becomes unforgettable. Rum absolute melts into creamy sandalwood, rich patchouli, tobacco and vanilla resin, creating a lingering trail that feels warm, sophisticated and deeply seductive. It wraps around the skin beautifully and leaves behind the kind of impression people remember.
As someone who has spent years immersed in the world of beauty and artistic perfumery, I can honestly say that Fifty Four is one of those rare fragrances with real personality.
