Meet Acqua di Parma Gelsomino a Freddo Eau De Parfum

September gets a whole lot cooler with the launch of Gelsomino a Freddo, the latest jewel in Acqua di Parma’s Signatures of the Sun collection. Italian lemon and a pinch of pink pepper wakes up your senses, before being swept away by the star of the show: creamy jasmine captured through the cold enfleurage technique. The jasmine note is rich and dimensional, it almost feels 3D.

Gelsomino a Freddo is a study in contrasts. It’s airy but intense, luminous yet smoky. Daphne Bugey has composed a fragrance that feels like a sunbeam filtered through black tea leaves, with guaiac wood and patchouli bringing a deep finish. This is a perfume that is just as happy with a tuxedo as it is with a silk slip dress. It’s quite fresh, a little floral, and definitely androgynous. (100 ml | € 310)
