When Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum first launched to celebrate Ex Nihilo’s 10-year anniversary, I called it a love letter to citrus, woods, and amber. Quite bold, luminous, and full of energy (you can still read that full review here).
Fast-forward to this week: I had the pleasure of celebrating the next chapter with co-founder Olivier Royère in person. And let me tell you, the new Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum is something else. The Extrait takes everything we loved about the original and turns it up.
It opens with juicy pear and sparkling bergamot. Then it warms into a heart of orange blossom and jasmine sambac, wrapping around you like a second skin. The base is a creamy blend of amber, vanilla, and sandalwood with a subtle almondy nuance that lingers long after you’ve left the room.
With its 30% concentration it’s a statement. I wore it straight out of the bottle at the launch dinner and hours later, I was still catching whiffs of its trail. The original Blue Talisman was already a moment. The Extrait de Parfum is a little more mysterious, a little more seductive. and completely unforgettable. (from 50 ml | € 275)
